USDA - Office of the Secretary Other Bioproduct Pilot Program New Competitive August 31, 2022 - Applications close

Description: Determine the economic, social, and environmental benefits of using materials derived from agricultural commodities (bioproducts) in the development and manufacturing of construction or consumer products.

Eligible Recipients: Bioproduct Research Facilities funded in part by a state with other restrictions

DOE Clean Energy and Power Extended Product System Rebates New Competitive 27 May, 2022 – Public comments were due on guidance document for implementing the Extended Product System Rebate Program and the Energy Efficient Transformer Rebate Program

Description: Provides rebates for qualified extended product systems (i.e. electric motor, electronic control, and driven load)

Description: FAA sustainment work and facilities replacements for replacing FAA-owned terminal and route air traffic control faculties, improvements of air route and terminal facilities etc.

Eligible Recipients: Federal Aviation Authority towers and commercial vendors.

USDOT-FHWA Roads, bridges and major projects Bridge Formula Program New Formula April 2022, Revised apportionment table for FY22 released

Description: Funds for bridge replacement, rehabilitation, preservation, protection, or construction projects on public roads. 15% set-aside for off-system bridges, 3% set-aside for Tribal transportation program and 0.5% set-aside for administrative expenses.

USCBP Ports and Waterways Land Port of Entry Modernization Existing Direct federal

Description: For furniture, fixtures and equipment for the land ports of entry modernized with funding provided to the General Service Administration in the Act.

USDOT-FAA Airports and Federal Aviation Administration Facilities Contract Tower Competitive Grant Program Existing Competitive April 2022, FY2022 NOFO closed

Description: Annual grants available to eligible airports for airport-owned airport traffic control tower projects that address the aging infrastructure of the nation's airports. Set aside from Airport Infrastructure Grants.

Description: For design, construction, and tenant build out of a facility to support energy and minerals research and associated structures with an academic partner. This will establish a center of excellence in minerals and energy science.

Description: Provides funding to local communities to integrate land use and transportation planning with a new fixed guideway or core capacity transit capital investment

USDOT-FTA Public Transportation Public Transportation Innovation Existing Competitive _

Description: Awards funding to advance innovative public transportation research and development

DOE Clean Energy and Power Industrial Emission Demonstration Projects New Competitive

Description: To fund demonstration projects that test and validate technologies that reduce industrial emissions, including for iron, steel, aluminum, cement, concrete, glass pulp paper, industrial ceramics and chemical production processes

Description: To provide competitive grants to make energy efficiency, renewable energy and alternative fueled vehicle upgrades and improvements at public schools

USDOT-FTA Public Transportation Capital Investment Grants Program (Fixed Guideway) Existing Competitive

Description: Discretionary grant program funds transit capital investments, including heavy rail, light rail, commuter rail, streetcars and bus rapid transit. Includes a pilot program for Expedited Project Delivery for new high-capacity transit projects.

USDOT-FTA Public Transportation All Stations Accessibility Program New Competitive September 30, 2022 - Proposals in response to FY22 NOFO close

Description: Provides capital funding to upgrade the accessibility of legacy rail fixed guideway public transportation systems for people with disabilities, including those who use wheelchairs.

USACE Resilience Flood Control and Coastal Emergencies Existing Direct federal

Description: Funds Army Corps preparedness measures, certain Army Corps operations during a flood, hurricane, or other natural disaster, and the repair of certain projects following such a natural disaster.

Eligible Recipients: The Army Corps will use this funding to prepare for, respond to, and help in the recovery following a flood, hurricane, or other natural disaster
