EPA Other Battery Recycling Best Practices New Report to Congress in November 2023

Description: The Environmental Protection Agency will develop best practices that may be implemented by State, Tribal, and local governments with respect to the collection of batteries to be recycled.

EPA Other Battery Labeling Guidelines New

Description: Establishes a program to promote battery recycling through the development of voluntary labeling guidelines for batteries and other forms of communication materials for battery producers and consumers about the reuse and recycling of critical materials from batteries.

EPA Other Gulf Hypoxia Action Plan New Competitive June 2022 - funding allocation released

Description: In the short-term, aims to reduce nutrient-loading to the Gulf of Mexico from the basin by 20% by 2025 In the long-term, the goal is to limit the Gulf hypoxic zone to an average annual size of less than 5,000 square kilometers by 2035.
