Description: Funding to restore native vegetation and mitigate environmental hazards on mined public or private lands.

USDA Resilience Collaborative Forest Landscape Restoration Program No Direct Federal Spending

Description: Uses collaborative, science-based approaches to enhance forest and watershed health, reduce risk from uncharacteristic wildfire, and provide benefits to rural economies.

USDA Resilience Ecological Health Restoration Contracts No Direct Federal Spending Report to Congress in June 2022

Description: This program is responsible for issuing contracts for management of programs with authority to dispose of National Forest System timber and non-timber forest products harvested for commercial, personal, and Tribal uses.

Department of Agriculture Resilience Wildfire Detection And Monitoring Equipment Yes Direct Federal Spending

USDA Resilience Federal Wildland Firefighter Salaries And Expenses No Direct Federal Spending

Description: To address the increasing complexity and severity of fire years the Forest Service will create a more permanent workforce by converting no fewer than 1,000 seasonal wildland firefighters to wildland fire managers that are full-time, permanent and year-round while also holding responsibilities for reducing hazardous fuels on Federal land.

USDOT-FMCSA Safety Motor Carrier Safety Operations and Programs Existing Direct federal funding

Description: Provides resources to support program and administrative activities to provide salaries and benefits for motor carrier safety personnel.

USCBP Ports and Waterways Land Port of Entry Modernization Existing Direct federal

Description: For land port of entry construction, modernization and sustainment

USACE Resilience Coastal Storm Risk Management, Hurricane, And Storm Damage Reduction Projects Existing Direct Federal

Description: This program will fund the construction of projects that help to reduce the risk of damage in a coastal storm, targeting States that have been impacted by Federally declared disasters over the past six years.

Eligible Recipients: The Army Corps will use this funding to construct authorized federal storm damage reduction projects.

Federal Cost Share: In general, projects are cost shared 65% Federal, 35% non-Federal.

USCBP Ports and Waterways Land Port of Entry Modernization Existing Direct federal

Description: For furniture, fixtures and equipment for the land ports of entry modernized with funding provided to the General Service Administration in the Act.

Eligible Recipients: GSA, Public Buildings Service, Federal Buildings Fund which will contract out the design and construction services

USACE Resilience Planning Assistance To States Existing Direct Federal Yes

Description: The Army Corps provides planning and technical assistance to States, Tribes, and local communities to address water resource issues and related work.

Eligible Recipients: Funds certain planning and technical assistance provided by the Army Corps.

Federal Cost Share: In general, projects are cost shared 50% Federal, 50% non-Federal with a cost-share waiver for Tribes and Territories

USACE Resilience Section 118 Of Water Resources Development Act of 2020 New Direct Federal Yes

Description: Pilot program to carry out feasibility studies for flood risk management and hurricane and storm damage risk reduction projects that incorporate natural features or nature-based features for rural communities and economically disadvantaged communities.

Eligible Recipients: In partnership with State, local, and Tribal governments, the Army Corps would use funding to carry out feasibility studies

USACE Resilience Flood Control and Coastal Emergencies Existing Direct federal

Description: Funds Army Corps preparedness measures, certain Army Corps operations during a flood, hurricane, or other natural disaster, and the repair of certain projects following such a natural disaster.

Eligible Recipients: The Army Corps will use this funding to prepare for, respond to, and help in the recovery following a flood, hurricane, or other natural disaster

USACE Ports and Waterways Mississippi River and Tributaries Existing Direct federal The Army Corps will be issuing multiple contract awards during FY22

Description: Federal projects to help reduce the risk of flood damage in the lower Mississippi River valley below Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Eligible Recipients: The Corps of Engineers will use this funding to plan, design, construct, operate, and maintain certain federal flood damage reduction projects

USACE Resilience Flood Plain Management Services Existing Direct Federal

Description: The Army Corps provides site-specific flood and flood plain data and assistance to States, Tribes, and local communities.

USACE Resilience To Complete Or Initiate And Complete Studies That Were Authorized Prior To The Date Of This Act Existing Direct Federal Yes

Description: Funds studies to determine the engineering, economic feasibility of potential solutions to water and related land resources problems as well as preconstruction engineering and design

Eligible Recipients: In partnership with State, local, and Tribal governments, the Army Corps would use funding to carry out feasibility studies

USDA - Forest Service Other Landscape Scale Restoration Water Quality and Fish Passage Existing Direct Federal

Description: This program improves fish and wildlife habitat connectivity and helps to recover Endangered Species Act-listed or Endangered Species Act candidate species that depend on National Forest System lands.

USDA - Forest Service Other Recreation Sites Existing Direct Federal

Description: The recreation program administers recreation sites, including campgrounds and day-use areas, and special use authorizations, such as ski lodges, resorts, and outfitter guides.

USACE Resilience Continuing Authorities Program (Under Flood Control Act And River And Harbor Act) Existing Direct federal

Description: Funds eligible for small Army Corps projects, including $115 million for restoring fish and wildlife passage.

Eligible Recipients: The Army Corps will use this funding to plan, design, and construct small water resources projects.

Federal Cost Share: Varies.

USACE Resilience Water-Related Environmental Infrastructure Assistance Existing Direct Federal Yes

Description: The program funds engineering and construction of authorized environmental infrastructure projects which provides safe water supply, waste disposal, and pollution control to cities and towns to protect human health and safeguard the environment.

Eligible Recipients: In partnership with State, local, and Tribal governments, the Army Corps would use funding to construct Federally authorized environmental infrastructure projects.

USACE Ports and Waterways Corps of Engineers Operation and Maintenance Existing Direct Federal

Description: The Army Corps to use this funding for operation and maintenance of its projects, including coastal and inland navigation projects.

USACE Resilience Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration Projects No Direct Federal Yes

Description: Funds the construction of authorized water resources projects to increase aquatic ecosystem restoration, including $1 billion for multi-purpose projects or programs that include aquatic ecosystem restoration as a purpose.

Eligible Recipients: In partnership with State, local, and Tribal governments the Army Corps would use funding to construct Federally authorized aquatic ecosystem restoration projects.
